This little girl was ADORABLE!!!! Her mom and grandma brought the cutest little outfits for her to wear and she did amazing for her shoot. This is my favorite age to shoot by the way! They can't walk yet but they are sitting and starting to crawl! Such a fun time to capture their little personalities and the milestones they've reached. And they mostly seem to just want to look at me and smile. They make my job fun and easy! I'm still trying to get up to date on my blogging. We had a nice Christmas and new year at my home. It was quiet, relaxing, and wonderful to spend time with family and friends. I had an amazing photoshoot this past weekend with a beautiful little family and newborn baby boy. Well almost not newborn anymore. He was 7 weeks old! We have survived our move to San Angelo, TX and I finally got my first photo shoot here. Meet Bridget! She was such a sweet girl for her photoshoot. She was excited and so willing to do everything I wanted her to. I would love to shoot 8 year olds more often. And she was quite the little poser. She was coming up with all her own awesome poses! Love this girl. She is such a sweetheart. Bridget is getting baptized in a couple weeks and what a great way to capture this time in her life.

I bought all sorts of fun new fabrics to play with while I was home in Idaho. I have a photoshoot tomorrow so I made Arlie be my tester girl. I am really excited about it. It is going to be a fun shoot tomorrow.

While we were home in Idaho visiting family over the holidays we decided to do a quick family picture with my Dad and step Mom and our huge family. We found a place that had a studio for rent and had someone snap it for us. Here is what we got. I also took this cool feet picture for my step brothers and their wives and son. They are planning on giving it to their dad for father's day. He is a Pediatrist...fitting don't ya think.

I also had the opportunity to photograph my brother in laws brand new baby Titus. He was so cute and so good for the shoot.

My sweet baby boy turned one years old yesterday. I can't believe it has come and gone already. We didn't do much this year with Josh being gone and all but I managed to get some cute first year pictures of him. The darn kid wouldn't sit down for more than two seconds to eat his cake. He just wanted to stand and eat it so this is what I got. Also I thought I would add some pictures from the day he was born.

So I know it has almost been a month since my last post. I know that is pretty bad. I swear I feel like I have no time to do anything. I have been swamped with work lately, Josh is gone and who knows when he will return, and my calling is keeping me really busy lately as well. Every day I swear I don't sit down until around 9:00 at night.
So anyways back to blogging. Deacon turns one on Monday can you believe it!!! He has turned into such a big boy and is starting to lose some of his baby features. Honestly if feels like yesterday that I had him. So here are some pictures of what we have been up to. We went with some friends to Summer's Farm again this year. It was a blast as always. I am really going to miss our fun tradition when we move to Texas. I wonder if they have anything like that there. Arlie had even more fun this year and Deacon enjoyed being outside although he was not a fan of the slide. In fact he was terrified.
We had such a great time and we are going to miss all of our dear friends when we leave.

It has been so long since I have updated. So here is a overdue post with pictures from Natalie and Ben's wedding, The "T" Family and sweet baby Claira that I took recently.
I will start with the Wedding. It was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed working with these two. Congratulations you guys! You have such a beautiful love for one another.

This family was seriously the easiest family for me to photograph. Not only was it easy because they are all so beautiful anyway but they actually all like getting their pictures taken and I had no problem getting pictures with everyone smiling and looking at the camera. You guys are awesome!

And finally my sweet friend had her beautiful baby not too long ago and I had the opportunity to take her pictures. She was so good and so fun to photograph. Thanks for being so flexible and letting me get creative.

So I decided to make a tutu for Arlie and well for me too for my business. I just finished it this morning and Arlie was begging me to take her picture in it. So here is the finished project. I will have to take some more pictures so you can see more of the tutu. I looked it up on youtube on how to make it. Pretty simple and self explanitory. I have some material to make a top too but I haven't got that done yet.
Needless to say I am no longer spending $35.00 on a tutu for some boutique when I can make it myself for $5.00. Yay for me for saving money. Also I just bought that chair. Totally love it! Home Goods rocks!

So I decided to make a one year album of Deacon so I have been taking pictures of him every month for his book. Here are some of the images from our shoot today. Deacon is now 5 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. He now has two teeth and he is the sweetest baby ever. He is so happy and laughs all the time. He is such a joy to have in our family. I am loving him more and more everyday.
